The right to adequate housing is firmly enshrined in the South African Constitution. And although that right has been affirmed through several landmark court cases we face a housing crisis. We are not delivering enough houses and the houses and housing environments we are delivering are poor.
A re-think is needed to achieve more progress.
The Executive Course in Housing Policy is a short learning programme offered and certified by the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) aimed at re-thinking housing.
Designed and facilitated by a team of land and housing specialists, the course delivers a practical understanding of housing policy that can be used to achieve more successful housing programmes. The course covers all policies, regulations and laws that have a bearing on the delivery of housing in South Africa.
